Do you communicate with patients so that the patient immediately trusts you and your abilities? Are you able to connect with patients on a personal level and see you as a person (not just on a clinical level)?
Do you love learning and are committed to being part of a TEAM that puts the patient first and not the professional ego? Are you flexible and open to change? Do you see the opportunity to learn as a privilege and not as something you get paid for? If yes, then you are the right person for our practice!
Your tasks are:
- Make the right decision with confidence about the treatment plan you're communicating.
- Make sure patients achieve their clinical and health/lifestyle outcomes (within the time frame you set)
- Develop a mutually beneficial relationship that benefits both the patient and the clinic.
- The ability to improvise in tricky situations
- Make sure patients are excited about the prospect of coming to physical therapy (and continue to stick to your suggested treatment plan).
- Provide a high level of customer care that makes patients want to come back often (and tell their friends and family about us too)
- Make sure that patients who come to free taster/discovery sessions move on to initial treatment (if appropriate).
- Make sure patients agree to a treatment plan that helps them achieve their health goals.
- Make sure patients complete a full treatment plan (as agreed in the first session).
- Make sure the documentation is up to date, accurate and completed within the agreed time frame.
- Get involved, contribute, and help develop the internal training program offered to all physical therapists.
We are getting out of the insurance madness and want to treat our patients at a high level of direct access. We know that this kind of work requires a high level of competence and skills and are ready to invest in you and in internal and external training so that you can grow with us personally and professionally!
What we expect from you:
- Be able to communicate with patients in a way that allows them to understand why the proposed treatment plan is the best solution to their problem.
- Ready and able to recognize when a patient is disillusioned or confused about their progress (and likely to drop out).
- Be able to show patients treatment successes based on assessments. So that treatment doesn't become a guessing game. (internal training courses are offered for this purpose)
- Being able to connect with patients on a personal level that goes far beyond a clinical outcome.
- An understanding of the causes of the patient's health problem.
- To take responsibility and talk openly about problems.
We also accept young professionals as long as they meet the above requirements and they fit well into our corporate culture!
